A common theme we hear is the challenge of hiring qualified PxPlus developers.
At PVX Plus, we've demonstrated that success doesn't depend on finding candidates with existing PxPlus experience.
Instead, we've built strong teams by hiring technically skilled individuals and training them using our Developer’s Guide, Knowledge Center, and other educational resources.
This approach has worked well for a variety of positions, including Development, QA, and Support.
Below is a summary of our new hires' initial expectations of their roles compared to their actual experiences:
Aaron, our Software Developer:
"I started in QA expecting to focus on testing, bug tickets, and perhaps UI/UX design, but being given ample opportunities, the role quickly expanded into much more: research, bug fixing, feature development, and even improving our online manual. Since moving into a Software Developer role, I’ve worked on core language features, led our AI initiatives, presented at our annual conference, and found constant opportunities to grow with a tight-knit team."
Habiba, our QA Analyst:
"I thought my role as a QA Analyst would be limited to testing features and logging bugs. Sanjay is a Full Stack Software Developer with a proven track record of bringing software solutions from concept to production. He has contributed across the entire development lifecycle, from gathering requirements and designing solutions to building, deploying, and maintaining applications.
He brings expertise in a wide range of technologies, including Java, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, and is experienced with modern development tools such as Git, GitHub, and Claude Code.
Sanjay is passionate about creating software that delivers real value. He believes great software is about more than writing code, it’s about solving real problems with solutions that are simple, effective, and reliable.
